    Since 2004 Vade Retro has been specializing in email filtering and security, succeeding thanks to a proprietary technology.
    Originating as an anti-spam filter we differentiate today thanks to new features in the area of email security, including Anti-Phishing, and Graymail Management, thus making email safe, simple, and convenient.

    Addressing the market of ISPs, Webhosting Companies, OEM and Corporates, we have convinced so far more than 3 000 customers, including leaders on their markets like Cisco, PineApp, OVH, DreamHost, Orange, SFR, Illiad, and many others.

    I am at the moment working as a trainee in the Category Management Pro department. Main occupation of a category managers are: introduce new products, analyze the activity of main competitors, follow sales results for each product, chose product that will still be offered and those that will be kicked out...
    - My main mission is to create and developp a complete new database about our competitors:
    - taking part to the biggest international fair in this business: Interzum Köln
    - analysis of new concepts, products
    - check out the activity and the products offer of competitors
    - internet researches
    - up-dating contact informations...

    - Second mission: help other Category Manager with the biggest project of the year: planning and realisation of the new main catalogue

    In 2006 I performed my first long internship in the Department Category Management DIY of the company Hettich FurnTech.
    This department deals with products destinated to specialised retailers as Obi, Praktiker, Leroy Merlin...
    My main mission during this training period was to realise a study of the french DIY (Do-it-Yourself) market:
    - Analyse and transcription of a Quality Study done by Ipsos
    - Internet researches
    - Picking up informations in specialised press

    On the second time I helped other Category Managers doing:
    - product specification
    - quality cocntrol
    - creation of new packaging
    - display reorganisation in our workshop

    First internship in Germany. Had the opportunity to work in a different environnement during a long period with great people. Discovered what a job of a Category Manager consists in. Enhanced unbelievably my german.

    Coastal Rides is a small english company specialised in inboard engines for river and coast boats. Repairing second hand engines, Z drives, selling new engines, control panels, steering systems are the main activities of the company.

    As a trainee I had the opportunity to work for this company during 3 months. My mission was to support the 2 managers of the company with their work. thansk to this position I discovered and learned a lot about how to lead successfully a small company.
    Work performed:
    - keeped financecs up to date with software SAGE
    - orders sending to suppliers
    - customer invoicing
    - translation work english- french (on the phone, writting letters, invoices)
    - shipping orders

    Added to those each-day works I prepared and started first sales with french customers:
    - developped and maintained relations with first french customers
    - first sales to france
    - translation work
    - realisation of the first advertising campaign in selected french magazines

    This internship was a fully complete one considerating all the different works I discovered and performed. Having the opportunity to work with the managers gave me the chance to discover how are small companies runned and how interesting it is. Moreover I also clearly enhanced my english and I am now much more confident at speaking, understanding and writting.
