I’ve worked in the specification and implementation of the project logical and physical Misys Portal.
Portal is the integrated web interface for Misys back office systems aimed at the end user. As a
technical leader, successfully migrated towards a Scrum-based Agile methodology. Used a wide range
of tools and technologies such as Java (J2EE on Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic), Web services, XML,
XSL, JavaScript, Dojo, jQuery and multiple databases. Integration with several third party systems and
security vendors (2FA, SSO, etc.).

Work conducted alongside the Government of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. The state implemented a
system to integrate its various business databases and connect them to the national database. The
system managed the directory, as well the taxes of 2 million businesses in the state, along with their 7
million associates (similar to the French SIREN, American EIN or VAT identification number). Executed
a successful data migration from the original Sybase database to Oracle, with the resolution of
problems found in the data access performance. Worked with Java (J2EE, Websphere), Web services,
XML, Databases Oracle and Sybase (PL / SQL and Transact-SQL).

Implementation of an insurance policy management system for Porto Seguro, one of the largest
insurance companies in the country. Worked on the logical and physical specification for the system
and on its development. Used Java (J2EE, JBoss, Websphere), IBM Rational Suite (RAD, Websphere,
Rational Rose, Clearcase), Oracle databases and Informix.

Worked together with several clients such as: Editora Abril (one of the largest media groups in Brazil)
in the implementation of a published edition control system for magazines, or Açominas, on their ERP
(SAP) integration with other products. Worked with Visual Basic, Visual C + +, Java (J2EE, JBoss,
iPlanet), Oracle Database and SQL Server.

Specification, development and maintenance of a credit card business support system, including realtime
applications for online transaction authorization. Brought substantial performance gains to the
end of day processing (which dropped from several hours to less than an hour) with the reorganization
of the database. Work performed with Visual Basic (front end), Visual C + + (authorizer), Oracle
databases.

Development of e-commerce solutions, from initial planning and environment assessment to the
actual implementation, with database modeling, analysis, development suitable for the proposed
design of the site. Web site management for dozens of clients. Implemented newsletters dispatched
to hundreds of thousands of recipients. Using Visual Basic, IIS, ASP, SQL Server databases, Oracle,
Visual InterDev, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Linux, Apache + Tomcat, Sendmail.
