Junior inspector in FPSO DALIA, supporting offshore inspection activities for DALIA Topsides
production facilities (200 Pressure Vessels, 3400 piping items, 620 Pressure Safety Valves...) and
Floating/Storage/Offloading facilities (hull, 12 crude Oil tanks, 14 water ballast tanks, utility tanks,
offloading buoy)
MAIN TASKS
Implement piping inspection program. This task include preparation of inspection folders and work
permit, execution of inspection and reporting using SAP INSPECTION SOLUTION.
Make recommendations on damage repairs and on damage preventions (material, coating,
passivation, catodic protection, painting, ...)
Assist the execution of inspection for structures, gas cylinders, tote tanks and pressure vessels
(Visual, NDT, CP, dimensional Test, RT, MP...)
Participate in the calibration of DALIA and GIR pressure safety valves. This task include: random
attendance to pre-pop test, inspection of PSV components, mandatory witness during pop-test and
verification of field re-installation of DALIA PSV.
Carry out inspection and non-Destructive testing (Visual Examination, dye penetrant, magnetoscopy,
ultrasonic testing, PMI, hardness test) in accordance with relevant Safety rules, inspection plans
procedures and Norms.
Corrosion Monitoring activities, including measuring, reading and reporting.
DALIA QA/QC activities relating to modifications and repairs.
Support inspection operations carried out by contracted in accordance with relevant Safety rules and
norms.
Assist the certified representatives for the regulated inspections (FPSO/Buoy Classification, Cranes,
Lifeboats/Freefals inspections).
Liaise with onshore inspectors to review and validate any findings as wel as to define any relevant
recommendations.
Comply with full application of SAP inspection Solution in al topsides inspection activities onboard
FPSO.
Participate on technical audits of contracted companies regarding Piping, PSVs and any other matter
upon request.
Coordinate 10 to 20 inspection visits a year.
Compile all offshore inspection activities on KPI. Replace with main activities and responsibilities
