  • Aeroconseil (AKKA Group) - WorkPackage Leader - EWIS Safety Certification for Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation

2012 - maintenant ◦ Technical leader of a group of 5 engineers, ensures the quality of deliverables and the schedule follow-up,
    ◦ Direct interface with the clients for project management,
    ◦ Development of the compliance strategy for the Airworthiness Regulation CS/FAR 25.1709 EWIS System Safety. Several Workshops led with Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation and FAA DER.
    ◦ Development of the Failure Within Bundle Analysis Instructions to demonstrate that a Failure Within Bundle does not lead to a catastrophic FC at system levels. The FWB ensures a proper allocation of electrical wires within bundles.
    ◦ Production of all FWB and CMA Analysis for Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation,
    ◦ Development of the Generic EWIS Functional FMEA document to be used within the System Safety Assessment to demonstrate that EWIS functional failures are well considered.
    ◦ Provide Support regarding the Common Cause Analysis (CMA, PRA, ZSA) on EWIS architecture and design.
    ◦ Use of the Validation & Verification Process on EWIS to provide and demonstrate that EWIS design and installation rules are fail-safe. Proof of Compliance and Deviation Sheets are used for traceability along the process.
    ◦ Development of a Human Factor Risk Assessment (Process FMEA) as to mitigate and monitor risks of human errors during manufacturing, assembling and installation of EWIS in the A/C.
    ◦ Physical Inspection Processes on Aircraft.
    ◦ Attend and coordinate meetings with Airworthiness Authorities.
  • Alten Sud-Ouest - ATA92 & ATA20 Consulting Engineer for AIRBUS

Boulogne-Billancourt 2011 - 2012 ◦ In charge of developing / updating Airbus Process Specification (AIPS) providing the rules / requirements for the manufacturing of EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System), applicable to all programs.
    ◦ Requirements cascading from the design rules (related to ATA92 & ATA20) to manufacturing.
    ◦ In charge of the qualification of new manufacturing processes (such as EMI open sleeve, individual wires shielding...). Development of Test Plans (RTCA DO-160, EN6059-XXX), supplier and tests follow-up, review and validation of Test Results.
    ◦ R&D project developments: from brainstorming to acceptance by the A350XWB Program,
    ◦ Weight, time, recurring and non-recurring cost analysis for each R&D project for Airbus acceptance,
    ◦ Development of new manufacturing processes and new EWIS components for the A350XWB: specification development, call for tenders, supplier proposal analysis, supplier tests follow-up,
    ◦ Projects follow-up and management with collaborators in France and India.
  • EADS Innovation Works - EADS France representative at the Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (USA)

Blagnac 2009 - 2011 ◦ EADS Focal point regarding 30 research projects on reliability of electronics systems,
    ◦ Project management regarding MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) switch reliability,
    ◦ Technology Intelligence regarding Green Electronics (attended many conferences including the Electronic Components and Technology Conference 2010 in Las Vegas),
    ◦ 2 Workshops led for EADS Business Units (EADS Innovation Works, Airbus, Eurocopter, EADS Defense Electronics, MBDA, Astrium Satellites, Astrium Space Transportation),
    ◦ Bimonthly reports to EADS Business Units.
  • SAGEM Defence Security (SAFRAN Electronics) - Engineering Intern

2009 - 2009 ◦ Development of a life prediction methodology for power electronic modules using Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS) and accelerated life testing.
    ◦ Management of the modules manufacturing (planning and follow-up),
    ◦ Launch of accelerated life testing (high temperature variation cycling and power cycling),
    ◦ Correlation of FEA and test results.
  • University of Washington - Mechanical Engineering Department - Engineering Intern

    2008 - 2008 ◦ Research Project sponsored by BOEING.
    ◦ Research study about the effects of the damage and uncertainty on the aeroelastic / aeroservoelastic behaviour and safety of composite aircraft.
    ◦ Aluminium wing and composite rudders manufacturing.
    ◦ Experimental testing in the “wind tunnel”.
