En résumé

Finance specialist with 15 years+ of international experience in Strategy & Development, expertise in Sourcing, Process and Control. Achievements in managing innovative and complex projects in energy, materials and mining sectors. Extensive experience in leading projects in Africa, Middle East, Asia, Europe, North America.

Within an international industrial energy-intensive group, I pioneered in setting-up an organization dedicated to energy (strategy, global approaches, processes, systems and partnerships) and in developing innovative projects to meet Group challenges and seize opportunities in a context of scarce resources:
• Improved security of electricity & gas supply at competitive costs (€2bn/y) and supported energy efficiency programs to boost EBITDA and reduce environmental footprint
• Contained price volatility to limit exposure to non-core business drivers
• Rationalized and developed self-generation asset portfolio (2GW) to maximize ROCE.

As Strategy & Development Director, my current contribution is threefold:
• Upstream, I initiated and defined sourcing strategy: conducting Strategic Reviews worldwide (60 countries) and collaborating with corporate functions & operations to implement changes from improved contracts to investments/divestment
• At the heart, I structured and led complex developments, such as IPPs: I am the Director of a 300MW gas project ($500M investment) in Nigeria. I led projects in Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, Hydro) in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and structured deconsolidating schemes for Waste Heat Recovery and Renewable Energy projects
• Downstream, I supervised performance and compliance: reviewing Electricity & Gas contracts (300 approved PPAs/GSAs in 40 countries), leading control, budget and forecast processes.

Prior to 2010, before joining Lafarge where I held corporate finance positions, I worked 8 years with Ernst & Young in Paris and Toronto as financial auditor in the energy, mining and materials sectors.
