  • GE Healthcare - Sourcing Manager EMEA - Mechanicals & Globalization

    2012 - maintenant
  • GE Healthcare - Sourcing Manager - Globalization & Supplier Developement

2009 - 2012 My organization is in charge of managing Transfer of production toward strategic suppliers and monitor/improve EMEA products supplier base performance.

Transfer of production are defined through a yearly plan including definition by product of most competitive supply-chain, taking in account potential cost reduction and suppy-chain operational performance (Logistics, Quality, Lead Time, Flexibility).
Corresponding projects are executed by projects leaders based in EMEA, China and India - they own project team leadership (engineering, manufacturing, regulatory...), project objectives (cost reduction, quality, delivery) and compliance with GEHC QMS and Medical Device regulations.

My team include four EMEA based projects leaders (Hungary, Finland, France) reporting directly to me and several projects leaders based in India and China supporting transfers toward those poles. VCP from transfer projects for 2010 is in a range of $8M (18% cost reduction in average).

Supply chain performance improvement is articulated around two axis.

First is the anticipation and mitigation of supplier risk (finance, quality, relationship...). This activity is driven in close collaboration with GE supply-chain leadership and external finance monitoring suppliers.
Second is the monitoring and improvment of supplier delivery performance to secure plants continuous fulfilment and optimize inventory management.

Both those activities are led by a two Lean Leader (Finland/France) reporting to me.
  • GE Healthcare - Project Leader - LCC Sourcing

2005 - 2009 Manage sourcing projects to transfer production from supplier to supplier or GE Plant to supplier - responsabilities include: project definition (scope, timing, budget, objectives), lead team of experts (industrialization, engineering, regulatory...) on program execution, secure GE Plant fullfilment through smooth phase in/out from/to suppliers and ensure compliance of project with Medical Regulations (FDA, GMED...) & GE Quality System.

After two years, this role expended into building fondation of LCC Sourcing Strategy toward India for products manufactured in EMEA - objectives being among other to demonstrate through successfull project execution capability of Indian supplier base to generate competititve advantage for GE products .
  • GE Healthcare - Sourcing Leader EMEA - Telecom & IT

2003 - 2005 In this position, I was in charge of managing a portfolio of Telecom and IT suppliers across Europe. Responsabilities included contract negociations, yearly targets of cost reduction (10% average) out of spend of $60M.
Main accomplishement in this role were the setup of Europe-wide (20+ sites across 15 countries) contracts to support leasing of computers with major market players. Other top accomplishment was deployment of a new approach to manage fleet of printers: instead of a group of assets to install, maintain and manage, objective was to buy a printing capability as a purchased service.
