    This work served as the basis for the creation of BeAM-Machines (the fisrt European AM machines manufacturer), spin off from IREPA LASER. In particular, they demonstrated the ability of the CLAD process (LMD) to match with requirments of the aeronotics industry (MRO) and disseminate this additive manufacturing breakthrough innovations to industry.
