As Project Manager at I.R.I.S Financial Services, my role was to manage and implement projects for internal or external customers, in order to deliver technological solutions or integration projects.
I was managing the delivery for a redesign of the IT infrastructure at international company, which is a holding - active in the automotive sector - with factories and sales offices in countries all over the world (Europe: Asia, and North, Central and South Americas).
This project involved several topics such as Server (Intel and Power) & Storage, Network & Security, Server & Desktop Virtualisation (VMware), Backup & Recovery for Open Systems (ITSM) and Mid-Range Systems (BRMS). The main objectives of the project were critical core-business platform (IBM i, formerly AS/400) modernisation; network and security (Cisco) standardisation; collaboration solution (Lotus Domino) consolidation; directory, file, and print services (Microsoft Windows) migration.

As Senior Data Protection Consultant at a Financial Institution, I was in charge of monitoring, alerting & reporting solutions such as EMC Data Protection Symantec OpsCenter Analytics, Oracle StorageTek Analytics. I was also involved in day-to-day management of the data protection infrastructure based on Symantec NetBackup running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux in combination with both Symantec Veritas Storage Foundation and Symantec Veritas Cluster. This infrastructure relied on Symantec NetBackup 5220 or 5230 appliances and Oracle StorageTek SL8500 tape libraries with T10K tape drives.
As Senior Infrastructure Architect for anidris, my main activities and responsibilities were as follows:
