    - deterrence/prevention of pirates attacks on the oil field (offshore units and vessels)

  • French navy - Head of RD office

    2008 - maintenant HEAD OF DIVING R&D
    Head of the R&D office of the French Dive Department.
    Carrying out experimentation dives, specifications prior supplying new devices or equipments. Auditor for the French diving units (in France and abroad)
    Supervisor for the Nato Submarine Rescue System

  • Foreign affairs - HEAD OF COOPERATION PROGRAM

    2006 - 2008 Head of the French military cooperation program “Cameroonian coastal safeguard”.
    Organisation and training of the Cameroonian navy for the Sea State Action, including maritime safety (Vessel Boarding Search and Seizure) and Damage Control (fire, pollution, flooding).
    Formation of the Cameroonians combat divers and in charge of the diving school.
    Organisation and management of the French warships stopovers.
    Managed the 2008 February riots (in danger expatriates extraction, intelligence, etc.)

  • French navy - OPERATIONS AND LOGISTICS OFFICER

    2004 - 2006 OPERATIONS AND LOGISTICS OFFICER
    Logistical and operational planning of a French special forces commando (103 staff). Planning and arranging of logistics and human manoeuvres.
    Implementation and follow-up of material and human data.
    HSE manager.
    Leader of several operational manoeuvres and multinational training sessions abroad.
    Development and application of new techniques and special procedures.

  • French navy - HEAD OF LOGISTICS/RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

    2000 - 2004 LOGISTICS/RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
    Head of the logistics and R&D office of the French marine riflemen and commandos headquarters (1500 riflemen and 500 navy commandos).
    Set-up and management of the commandos equipment program between 2001 and 2004. €12 millions worth of equipment supplied for this program, in respect of the French “public market code” (notice of tender regulations).
    Carrying out specifications, technical analysis, equipments and registration.
    Many major programs undertaken for the commandos (assault rifles, hand guns, sniper rifles, tactical equipments, explosives, etc.) and some national programs for the navy, such as handguns and fast rubber boats.
    Chief auditor for all riflemen and commandos units.
    Infantry expert for the navy.

  • FRENCH NAVY - OPS OFFICIER

    1999 - 2000 Operations planning and organisation of the French marine riflemen unit of Cherbourg's harbour (300 staff).
    Security manager for 4 installations; 2 nuclear submarines dockyards, 1 ammunition storage complex and 1 military port.
    HSE manager.

  • French navy - Antiterrorist team leader, assistant to department manager, etc

    1985 - 1998 1996 - 1998 DIVING INSTRUCTOR AND MARITIME NAVIGATION TEACHER
    Education director at the French combat swimmer school.
    Teacher in special diving and maritime navigation.

    1991 - 1996 ASSISTANT TO DEPARTMENT MANAGER
    Assistant to the director of the Hubert commando/SEAL antiterrorist department.
    Team management in hostile environments.
    Many operations in crisis theatres.
    Development of security procedures and audits on offshore/inland installations, tankers and liners.

    1988 - 1990 ANTI-TERRORIST SPECIALIST
    Member of the antiterrorist cell of the French marine commandos (12 staff).
    Specialised in VIP protection, hostage liberation, maritime counterterrorism.
    Many secondments with French GIGN group.

    1985 - 1987 TEAM LEADER
    Managed a team of 6 staff at the French marine commando DE MONTFORT.
