Context: ALTRAN is one of the main external subcontractors of THALES ALENIA SPACE for satellite thermal analysis realized as Work Package. These activities include thermal analysis at system and subsystem level.
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Project scheduling and work breakdown structure definition.
- Managing the planning of the section: team from 8 to 10 engineers.
- Cost budgeting and control: annual budget of about 600 k€
- Managing quality, risks and knowledge.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Technical advisor and trainer for the thermal staff.
- Knowledge management through the setting up of a technical referential.
- Validation of all the data, documents and models produced by the team.
- Capitalization of knowledge and skills of the team.
Business Responsibilities:
- Writing business and technical proposal: numerous gained contracts
- Ensuring the customer relationship.
- Supporting business manager during business meetings.
- Invoicing realized projects.

- Selection of ALTRAN as main subcontractor of THALES group in the thermal field during bi annual consultation of engineering suppliers.
- Certification ISO 9001/2008 of the engineering department of Cannes.
- Re organisation of the thermal activities in work packages.
- Recovery of customer confidence in ALTRAN thermal department.
