    2010 - maintenant
    Member of the Executive European Committee started as VP and promoted SVP in 2 years time. Lead European/USA and offshore resources in all aspects of IT including e-commerce and SAP practices as well as business process optimization, infrastructure, and innovative technologies
    • Recovered a low morale IT organization disconnected from the business by changing 30% of the organization with more business facing skills (moving from 20 to 62 business related projects delivered annually).
    • Developed a vendor management discipline and major outsourcing deals with key partners such as HCL, Dimension Data, T-System activity. Off shored about 40% of the IT application management landscape and delivered 5m$ savings partly reinvested in innovation and business facing capabilities (30 people hired as business analysts and consultants).
    • Developed a SAP Center of Excellence providing projects and support services to both EMEA and the USA regions. (120 people) .
    • Drove an innovation agenda jointly with SAP (Palo alto and Walldorf labs) for introducing the new HANA in-computing memory technology in some business areas like: BI, real time pricing…
    • Developed an EMEA e-commerce Center of Excellence with 75% of order lines processed on line enabling to digitalize our front office jointly with marketing services.

  • DHL - Vice President IT EMEA

    Roissy en France 2005 - 2010 Recruited as IS Director for France and have been promoted VP for Western & Eastern Europe region after having contributed to deliver successfully the turn around plan for France (back to profit) for driving the acquisition and integration of Exel Logistics in Europe. Recognized as a reliable partner by growing business in emerging economies and providing innovative solutions in highly competitive markets (Western Europe) for creating competitive advantages. Promoted as VP for developing supply chain solutions for EMEA aiming to optimize business processes and enabling new capabilities for improving competitiveness on the market place.
    • Worked in close alignment with the French business board for recovering a loss-making business. Reengineered dispersed IT organizations resulting from former acquisitions and created a centralized team of 50 strong experts in business solutions, project management and services management. Developed partnerships for outsourcing commodities such as datacenters, infrastructure and application management.
    • Developed a federated IT organization leveraging EMEA shared services capabilities associated with local skills for ensuring customer intimacy in Western and Eastern Europe as a regional CIO. Supported the development of major accounts such as Lego, Sony, and Samsung in implementing innovative logistics and transportations solutions. Have been awarded innovator of the year in 2008 in France (SITL) for having implemented a RFID solution for a FMCG customer.
    • Developed 5 Centers of Excellence in the supply chain area (WMS, TMS, EDI, Business Intelligence, BPO) aiming to improve business processes and provide competitive solutions to the EMEA business. Develop strategic partnerships with major players such as Red Prairie, Generic group. Supported c 20M€ business development on an annual basis.
  • GEFCO - Enterprise Architecture Director

    COURBEVOIE 1992 - 2003 Started as a network engineer and have been promoted 4 times for taking over the whole production responsibilities for IT and moving afterward to business facing activities (enterprise architecture). Led a program aiming to transform the whole IT landscape in line with major business strategy changes (internationalization, centralized business models).
