    2001 - 2006 Mission:
    Management of the project teams responsible for the delivery of Messaging, Hosting and Security solutions for Orange Business Services, (formally Equant).

    Merge 4 project management teams (AMRs, APA, France & EUMA), whilst improving Project Management capability

    Standardise process, globalise the team, forge new and reinforce existing relationships with other departments and suppliers, change skills mix in the teams from technical to business bias.

    Take ownership, improve efficiency and install controls for the order management process

    Delivered 66Million euros of new Business in 2004 and grew that to over 75Million in 2005.

    Exceeded 85% on time, 90% on budget and 12% under.
  • SITA Equant Joint Venture - Director IT Operations

    2000 - 2001 Mission
    Prepare the operation for merger with Global one and Equant, rationalising - wherever possible
    o cost of ownership in data centres

    o LAN services and desk top.

    Operate with 3rd Party Suppliers in complex service relationships.

    Key Achievements:
    Saved 1.1 Million USD on desk top contract for France by addressing
    o the performance against SLA

    o simplifying roles and responsibilities between supplier, internal IT teams and the user community

    o implementing an active asset management system
    Increased SLA adherence and performance of Corporate Systems by deploying global monitoring system and “Follow the Sun” Console – previously failed twice

    Operational deployment of a global call management system.

    Saved of 1,4M USD over 2 years by rationalising SAN technology across 2 data centres.
  • Equant Application Services - Principal Consultant

    1998 - 2000 IS Consultant to the Airline and Travel industries majoring in Electronic Trading, Middleware Solutions and complex Project Management.
    Mission: Customer Facing
    Salvage a 10M USD outsourced development of an application, (6months in), whose objective was to consolidate and replace the supply chain systems and processes of a large Telco with a single integrated solution.

    Key Achievements:
    Project Stopped and rescoped.
    Reuse of 3M USD of hardware and software within 9 months
    Deployment of a prototyped (oracle) solution for 50% of the processes on a fixed price contract.
    System rolled out globally (every major city world wide) – removing local processes and systems
  • Fujitsu ICL - Corporate Programme Manager

    Asnières sur Seine 1996 - 1998 Mission: Internal
    Deployment of Processes and Systems to secure and manage inter company and cross border trading between operating companies within the ICL group.

    Key Achievements:
    Quick win deployment of an excel based spreadsheet process for reconciliation of accounts (monthly). Subsequent deployment of a Hyperion based solution to replace the quick win.

    Deployment of internal and external EDI trading architecture and processes between operating companies systems (trading agreements and standard systems interfaces.

    Deployment of a standardized COLD storage system reducing disk space and paper archiving requirements corporately and allowing the swift access of trading document images.
