    Thaon Les Vosges 2009 - 2014 Lead Light Vehicle Product Line (Variable Geometry Turbochargers and 2 stage systems) representing $1.3B revenue in 2012 (60% of overall HTT revenue).
    Define global product strategy to meet revenue and profitability growth targets over a 5 year horizon. Allocate R&D investment to meet business objectives

    Thaon Les Vosges 2005 - 2008 Managed all new product developments for Diesel Passenger Car.
    Orchestrated the development of a new generation of Variable Geometry Turbochargers to restore HTT competitiveness for small size products. Brought to market a new concept of variable geometry mechanism with 8$ cost reduction per turbocharger, resulting in targeted Operating Income improvement, while improving product reliability. This new product allowed to secure 2M units/year of production volume, generating $450M/year revenue.
    Developed a strong standardization strategy, providing a 65% reduction in components diversity compared to previous generation of product.
  • Honeywell - Performance & System Simulation Manager

    Thaon Les Vosges 2001 - 2004 Established a team of 8 people, in charge of powertrain system modeling, turbocharger matching and electronics & controls development. Staffed and trained team members.
    Developed the turbocharger matching tool yet in use at HTT, enabling performance evaluation of all type of boosting architecture.
    Trained >200 Application Engineers to turbocharger matching using this simulation tool.
    Led engine and vehicle assessment of e-Boosting system and managed the collaboration with Denso on performance, controls and electric motor design.
    Initiated value assessment of boosting technologies using system modeling.
    Wrote 3 papers in international journals and conferences to promote HTT technologies.
  • Delphi Automotive Systems - Senior Development Engineer, Fuel Injection Systems and Controls

    1998 - 2001 Established a complete and comprehensive set of modeling tools to support Diesel Common Rail components development (hydraulics, electro-magnetics, fluid dynamics)
    Pioneered Robust Design method implementation to reduce design sensitivity to manufacturing and environmental variations. Awarded paper at American Supplier Institute / MIT symposium.
    Developed a new algorithm for turbocharger controls in vehicle, allowing drastic reduction in calibration time, better accuracy of control and better vehicle dynamics.
    Granted 2 patents on turbocharger controls.
  • European Centre for Research and Advanced Training in Scientific Computation - Scientist & Project Manager

    1995 - 1998 Coordinated the first French computer modeling of global climate change due to atmospheric greenhouse gas, using super-computing methods and fully coupled ocean / atmosphere model.
    Wrote 2 papers in international journals and popularized the major findings.
    Interfaced with Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for final report.
  • Aérospatiale - Division Missile (Les Mureaux) - Development engineer, Advanced Controls Group

    1990 - 1992 Developed and validated optimal controls using Kalman filtering techniques allowing fast calibration of inertial navigation system for inter-continental missiles.
