PARIS

En résumé

Looking towards my future as a scientist, I would like to be involved in R&D projects, managing, developing and analyzing new products that contribute to the quality of life of our society.

Through out my studies, I worked in different scientific and cultural environments and always succeeded in being very well integrated as well as successful in bringing the project forward. I also proved to be very motivated, hard working and patient. English being my mother tongue, I am also fluent in French and Arabic.

I therefore think that my dynamism, the experience to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds, my management skills and the capacity to accept new challenges can bring an important contribution to my employer

Entreprises

  • L'Oreal

    PARIS maintenant
  • BASF /ISIS

    maintenant
  • BASF - Post-Doctorante / JONAS- IMTEK Freibourg

    Levallois-Perret 2013 - maintenant
  • Institut Charles Sadron (ICS) / CNRS - PhD student

2009 - 2012 The aim of my PhD work is using Nano-Fibrillated cellulose (NFC) to prepare nanomaterials.
    These nanomaterials include:
    - Ultra-thin transparent NFC films are prepared by the layer by layer assembly by dipping, spraying and spin-coating.
    - Modification of commercial membranes by the layer by layer assembly in order to get high flux separation membranes of improved performances.
    - Aerogel preparation and functionalisation.
Characterization was done using the following techniques:
    - Atomic Force Microscopy, ellipsometry and optical microscope with crossed polarisers.
Other tasks during this PhD include:
    - Assistant project manager
    - Presentation in conferences
    - Organization of an international conference
  • L'Oréal Paris - Ingenieur Stagiaire

PARIS 2009 - 2009 Training Period at L’Oreal Research group in Clichy, France. The project is entitled: Development of a method to quantify and identify polymeres in finished products using Gel Permeation Chromatography.

Techniques d’analyses : RMN, IR, DSC, DLS, Spectrométrie UV.

Training Period at BASF / ISIS in Strasbourg, France.
I carried out RAFT polymerisations, Emulsion polymerisation as well as organic synthesis of the monomers. NMR, IR, DSC, DLS, UV-spectroscopy and LC-MS were means of analysis in this work.
  • Borealis - Internship (3 months)

Vienna 2007 - 2007 Training period at Borealis in Linz, Austria
In this training period, I worked on the effect of sterilization on the optical properties of Polypropylene films. Analytical methods used are: haze measurement, DSC, TEM.

Stage Ingénieur de 3 mois pendant l’année césure à Borealis Linz en Autriche. Le but de ce stage était d’étudier l’effet de la stérilisation sur les propriétés optiques des filmes en polypropylène.
    Techniques d’analyses : « Haze machine », DSC, TEM.
  • BASF / ISIS - Intern

    2007 - 2008
