RENNES

En résumé

Franchising through different approaches including Business ones (retailing, marketing, management, strategy, etc.) and Law ones (competition law, contract law, etc.). My recent research has dealt with the following aspects of franchising:

- management (organizational structure and plural form, internal communication, franchisor/franchisee relationships and conflicts, organizational and technical know-how),

- strategic marketing & communication (external communication, use of social media, corporate social responsibility, customer satisfaction),

- performance (efficiency, non-financial performance, survival, unit and network levels),

- strategy & development (franchisee attraction, E-commerce, internationalization, micro & social franchising).

Special attention is given to franchising in the hotel, restaurant, fast-food and bakery industries, and to franchising in home services.
