    Levallois-Perret Cedex 2007 - 2009 Missions:
    * Structure the planning function inside the EES Business group (new business).
    * Ensure the planning and scheduling of Projects are handled in a professional way in the different locations, using consistent methods and tools, producing the necessary information the Project and Business management.
    * Link with Sector and other business groups Project Office on planning organizational issues (tool development and implementation, reporting, training definition and sharing of best practices).
    * Deploy Primavera Enterprise on the EES sites.
    * Develop and manage the project planners’ community.
    * Manage the implementation and maintenance of an integrated cross-project scheduling system, supporting a reliable resource planning at unit and business level.
    * Organize and maintain archiving of actual vs original schedules, for future reference, with clear identification of specific deviations.
    * Support and coach the project planners in the units in particular in their role as provider of negotiation material to Projects in time related claim issues.
    * Develop and maintain standard scheduling models with the business units, Promote the use of common WBS structures and templates, establish the requirements for future evolution.
    * Actively review projects, with the main objective to share best practices and circulating the lessons learned.

    Actions / Key achievements:
    At business level:
    * Assessment of the current situation in terms of planning / project management through interviews (80 people interviewed in March / April 2007) + Specific assessments (Belchatow, Megalopolis, Jharsuguda, Rovinari – Detailed analysis of the schedules, of the way the schedules are used) – proposed recommendations.
    * Developing an action plan to implement Primavera, improve skills, share and organize the work processes.
    * Deployment of this action plan: workshops, new procedures, monitoring of training joined by the planners etc
    * Organization of the first EES planners seminar in July 2008 (20 planners from 5 different Activities).
    * Set up of a collaborative tool (WIKI) & regular conference calls.
    * Participation in the recruitment of the new planners.

    At sector level:
    * Interface between the Activities and the sector. To share the information, to communicate about the sector initiatives. To ensure that the sector procedures are known and applied.
    * In charge of the Business representation within the Global Primavera Project; the Project Planner Development Program, the deployment of new trainings, the management of the planners’ community.
    * Involved in the Powermax deployment.
  • CE2I - Primavera Expert

    2006 - 2007 Consultant on Lyondell sites (Fos sur mer (France) and Maasvlakte (Netherlands)).

    Member of a team in charge of developing and implementing a scheduling tool + associated processes in order to schedule the daily maintenance works, in relation with a preparation tool.
    * Analysis of existing methods of working. Definition of the required changes.
    * Definition of the configuration of the scheduling tool in liaises with U.S. users.
    * Key stakeholder in the definition of the interface with the preparation tool.
    * Writing detailed procedures, tools aid for daily use.
    * Support during the testing phase.
    * Users training (preparation tool – SAP. Scheduling tool – Primavera. Reporting progress tool - Project Progress Lyondell (in house)).
  • Saipem SA - Project Control Manager

    Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2003 - 2006 Project Control Manager, located in Saint Quentin en Yvelines – France. EPC project of 260 millions dollars for ExxonMobil, pipelines and plate – forms to be installed in Nigeria.

    Responsible of a team of 4 persons, in charge of:
    * The drafting and implementation of "project control" procedures (progress rules, schedule guideline).
    * The WBS set up.
    * The Project schedule (2 000 Primavera activities for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transportation, installation, connections and tests): create the schedule, update, analysis, anticipating trends, proposed corrective actions.
    * Internal and customer reporting (progress, weekly meetings, monthly reports, histograms, curves S).
    * The management of changes and creation of the process for profitability analysis.
    * Helping the contract manager during the preparation of the final claim.
  • GLAXO SMITH KLINE - Planner

    Marly-le-Roi 2001 - 2003 Planning Engineer, on site
    * Production transfers between sites: scheduling of the different steps to be achieved to allow the site of Evreux to manufacture and supply international markets. Key Performance Indicators and reporting (site, group).
  • Foster Wheeler France - Project Control Manager

    Paris 1997 - 2001 Interim assignment: Project Manager – Atofina and Oril industry sites, focusing on specifications’ analysis, coordination of the different engineering departments, drafting of subcontracts, bids’ analysis, monitoring and expediting of suppliers, management of the supervisors.
    * During the construction phase of the renovation of an extrusion line (work requiring the shutdown of the line, proposed planning submitted to the subcontractor and agreed by him, start up on time);
    * Throughout the installation of two storage silos.

    Daily assignment: Project Control Engineer on projects from 2 to 20 millions francs, (refundable, lump-sum, turnkey) for Oil and Gas / pharmaceutical customers.
    * Projects scheduling (engineering, procurement, construction and start up) + control.
    * Monitoring and progress measurement: analysis, forecasting of trends, reporting.
    * Budget preparation: budgeted / actual / forecasted hours / costs. Gap analysis.
    * Management of changes.
  • Alpha Maintenance - Planner

    Rouen 1995 - 1997 Planning Engineer - Mainly located on sites (refineries, chemical sites)
    * Configuration of an IT application based on Primavera, allowing the daily planning of all the maintenance works. Support during the initial setup of this application.
    * Preparation and follow up of the schedules for shutdowns and refurbishments of plants.
