    2010 - maintenant Direct all activities related to airworthiness certification and performance qualification of the TIGER helicopter. Coordinate and oversee tests performed by industry, monitoring progress, analysis, results and reporting, working closely with National Airworthiness authorities (NAA) and corporate personnel. Define processes, test plans, procedures and specifications, consulting with all stakeholders to achieve optimal efficiency, cost effectiveness, accuracy and safety. Representing member nations, chair the Safety Group, which ensures strict compliance with all applicable regulations throughout the certification life cycle.

  • ALENIA AERONAUTICA (Turin - Italia) - Flight Test Engineer

    2008 - 2009 Working as part of the C27J JCA flight test team during the American contract phase, contributed to the development of a comprehensive flight test plan for the gathering/interpretation of data necessary for certification/qualification of the aircraft in accordance with U.S. government specifications. Defined operational testing documents and produced detailed analysis of data generated during testing to meet both European (CS 25) and American (FAR 36) requirements.

    Scheduled, supervised and analyzed final flight testing following maintenance of helicopters and fighters. Oversaw aircraft engine maintenance and supported technical personnel with troubleshooting and problem resolution. Updated maintenance manuals and monitored compliance with manufacturers’ Service Bulletins.
    As Project Manager, spearheaded the integration of retrofit/maintenance of the new aircraft generation, including specification development, retooling planning, business/investment proposal development and contract negotiations (5M€). In addition, directed a project to incorporate airborne camera turrets on large aircraft. Conducted requirements analysis, performed feasibility studies, and formulated technical/financial proposals. Developed the supply chain, supervised project execution and managed costs.
