  • Airbus Helicopter - Technical Support

    1991 - 1998 Airbus Helicopter Technical Support, in charge of vibration
    problems experienced by civil and military customers in operating their helicopters:
    o Integration of the first Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) on
    Airbus Helicopter fleet. This new concept led me to carry out work in
    vibration, integration of systems and helicopter maintenance.
    o Involved in the investigations of incidents and accidents by analyzing the
    data collected from vibration measurements going through the CVFDR
    recordings, the HUMS (Health and Usage Monitoring System) data and
    from sound recordings together with a correlation with theoretical models
    o Dolphin program engineer dealing with all technical and commercial
    matters to support customers in operating their helicopters

    (4 years) * Defined new generation of the condition indicator's algorithms for the health
    analysis of mechanical components, gearboxes, and rotors
    * Set up health condition indicators thresholds in order to get a good balance
    between mechanical failures high detectability and low occurrence of false alarms
    for all HUMS design (EuroHUMS, Euroarms, MARMS and GLIMS).
