I'm Vincent Gobin, designer in Paris, where i work for the global design agency Diedre Design. I am passionate about new technologies and arts, and i love when they are mixed. I also love working with authentics materials, forming them. I master the various tool of formalization and communication design, to put forward a project. I love teamwork but am able to work in autonomy when it is needed.

    2011 - 2015 - Designer for many Interiors Design projects (for MONTBLANC, FNAC, ELIOR, ORANGE, OCCITANE, SEPHORA ...) and packaging (PARROT, JOHNNIE WALKER, GLENMORANGIE...).

    - In charge of the creation and development of the new store concept, for the french fashion brand MELLOW YELLOW.

    STAGES:

    - Development and finalization of the design chosen.
    - Technical development (APS).
    - Management (CAD drawers, 3D modellers, designers).

    TOOLS USED:
    - Drawing, rough for the conceptualization part (ILLUSTRATOR).

    CONCLUSION:
    - The first store opened in January 2013 in Paris
    - The new concept development continues in France and around the world.

    2010 - 2010 - In charge of a product development always under closed privacy...

    STAGES:
    - Study of investment product marketing.
    - Axis position of coherent research.
    - Conceptualization of design proposal.
    - Development and finalization of the design chosen.
    - Creation of communication materials.
    - Final technical part development always in progress.

    TOOLS USED:
    - Competition research, for the marketing part.
    - Drawing, rough for the conceptualization part.
    - 3D modeling (CATIA V5) for the design development part.
    - Graphic print (PHOTOSHOP, IN DESIGN) and presentation support (KEYNOTE) for the communication part.

    CONCLUSION:
    - Project still in progress...
  • KOHLER Asia Pacific - Product Designer

    2008 - 2009 - In charge of 2 product developments (An access range bathtub, and a range of premium shower elements).
    - Work in partnership with a young chinese designer team, the Asia KOHLER marketing team, and the Asia KOHLER factory.

    - Study of investment product marketing.
    - Axis position of coherent research.
    - Conceptualization of design proposal.
    - Development and finalization of the design chosen.
    - Final technical part with the factory.
    - Creation of communication materials.

    TOOLS USED:
    - Competition research, for the marketing part.
    - Drawing, rough for the conceptualization part.
    - 3D modeling (SOLIDWORKS) for the design development part.
    - Graphic print (PHOTOSHOP, IN DESIGN) and presentation support (KEYNOTE) for the communication part.

    CONCLUSION:
    - The bathtub LOVEE (cf Behance Portfolio) has just been launched on the chinese market.
    - The second project will be launched soon.
  • Tecnopali Group SpA - Product Designer

    2005 - 2007 - In charge of a product developments (A streetlamp).
    - Work in partnership with R&D team, the marketing team, and the factory team at PETITJEAN SAS.

    STAGES:
    - Study of investment product marketing.
    - Conceptualization of design proposal.
    - Development and finalization of the design chosen.
    - Final technical part with the factory.
    - Creation of communication materials.

    TOOLS USED:
    - Competition research, for the marketing part.

    CONCLUSION:
    -The streetlamp PARADOX (cf Portfolio) will be launched on may 2011.
