ADMA Electrical power system upgrade project (Offshore) – Project 35M$,
EPC contract for replacement, without general shut down, of all HV switchgears and transformers of two Off Shore complex (Zakum and Umm Shaif super complex) with structure extension and building extension.
Manage the project from Engineering up to commissioning and transfer
CEGELEC engineering managed with local integrated team (30 000h in house):
o Power coordination study & relay setting (EDSA software)
o Single line diagram
o Detailed engineering (Cable schedule, Layouts….)
Electrical subcontractor (AREVA) was in charge to provide:
o 43 LV panels for retrofits of existing 11 KV switchgears
o 42 HV cells 11KV including bus coupler & bus riser.
o 11KV bus ducts (ETACOM)
Power management system upgrade subcontracted to Woodward.
Structural engineering subcontracted to NAMA for two 40 tons structural extension (15m x 3m x 5m) of offshore platforms to accommodate new NER & Reactors.
Management of the contractual interfaces with the client and the subcontractors.
Define and coordinate project priorities between engineering, construction and commissioning teams.
In charge of the project budget.
Prepare the monthly project reporting for the management based in France.

ADMA Fire & Gas Project (Offshore – Das Island) – Project 10M$,
EPC contract for replacement of Fire and Gas system and up grading system to be SIL3 with additional sensors and detectors, on Off Shore plant based in Das Island.
Manage the project from Engineering up to commissioning and transfer.
CEGELEC engineering managed with local integrated team (20 000h in house):
o System Cause & Effects and Logic diagrams (1600 I/Os)
o Detailed engineering for 350 new instruments installation (UV/IR Multi spectrum detectors / H2S gas detectors / Ultrasonic HC Gas leak detectors..)
o Cable schedules
o Equipment & cable tray layouts
System subcontractor was in charge of the system engineering and assembling:
o GE-FANUC: 11 new IOS & upgrade of 10 existing IOS (90-70 series). New CIMPLICITY HMI was provided.
o Allen Bradley: Upgrade of 22 PLC (from 5/15 to 5/20) and two 5/80 new PLC. Upgrade of RS-view HMI.
Procurement managed by the integrated project team.
