My name is Yann, I am a Software Engineer with 5 years of experience in a variety of development languages. I'm also a certified Scrum Master.
Highly motivated, my main skill is to be able to adapt quickly to any technology and to understand the needs of the business I am working in. I am a fast learner and I love to work in true agile teams.

My ideal role is an ASP.Net Core MVC developer working on a new product and / or Scrum master responsibilities.

I'm currently working for Class Ltd (457 visa) as a Full stack developer and a Scrum Master on a funds and investments management system.


Short sum-up of my career:
After having spent one year and a half in China and finished my master degree at EPITECH in France, i joined "Louis dreyfus commodities" in their worldwide IT compentencies center in Lyon.

I then joined the R&D team of "Ortems - Dassault Systèmes" to work on and enhance their automated production scheduling softwares on both the functional and the technical side.

After Dassault, I decided to move to the other side of the world to take on a new challenge in Sydney. I joined Class Ltd to work as a full stack developer and improve my skills in a multicultural environment.

    2017 - maintenant As a member and Scrum Master of one of the product teams in the company, I participate in the effort of enhancing a cloud base solution on the .Net stack. This software is a fund investment management system, for pensions and portfolios.

    Key responsibilities
    • Scrum Master for one of the product team
    • Building C# back-end unit and service tested, including Rest API and micro services
    • Building JavaScript front end UI using various framework
    • Rotating on the maintenance team to solve production issues

    2015 - 2016 I was part of the R&D team, which was a part of a bigger developer’s team, in charge of supporting (bug fixing) and developing 2 factory scheduling applications. One in turbo pascal and one in C# / JavaScript. Our team was in charge to manage the algorithms and business rules within the 2 applications. I spent ¾ of my time on the turbo pascal software.

    2013 - 2015 I was in charge of supporting a commodities trading software. It was the main application of the company, which was making 60 Billion dollars a year. My responsibilities involved worldwide support along with my manager, Jira administration and interfaces project management

    • Level 3 support on a global commodity trading software
    • In charge of all interface projects with third party software
    • Managing projects and support with our UK IT provider
    • Creation and administration of JIRA workflows for the ticketing tool

    Issy-les-Moulineaux 2013 - 2013 I was integrated in a 20 developers team on an ASP MVC project on bonus calculation for salesmen for the biggest telecom company in France. I was mainly in charge of ASP development and T-SQL procedures creation, but I also had to work a little on Microsoft BI studio.

    Key responsibilities
    • Realization of a variable compensation calculation software for a world class French telecom company
    • Development in ASP.NET, stored procedures / triggers / views in SQL Server 2008
    • SSIS creation in Microsoft BI Studio tool
    • writing of both functional and technical specifications

    Key Achievements
    • Delivering an excel spreadsheet with complexes calculations that helped the team to verify the application’s output and perform business rules validation, accelerating the whole validation process

    2012 - 2013 Projet international d’interface entre SAP (branche Philips) et la solution logicielle de Segeco consulting, KooLog. Gestion des spécifications et de la documentation, réunions hebdomadaires avec le client situé à Eindhoven (Live meeting et déplacements sur place), prise en charge d’une partie du développement VB.NET et management d’un autre Développeur.

    2010 - 2011 - Mission : Analyse, conception et développement d’un environnement logiciel pour le pilotage domotique et énergétique d’une maison.
    - Description : Analyse complète des besoins et des technologies nécessaires à la bonne réalisation du projet, rédaction de documentation. Conception UML et Microsoft Visio de l’ensemble du projet. Planification des taches par ordre de priorités, et attributions en fonctions des compétences de chacun. Développement du projet en C++.
