    primary focus on Professional Services, Telecoms and Technology ($60m of annual income), coordination role across Europe for those clients.
  • BARCLAYS BANK PLC - Relationship Director

    Paris 2007 - 2014 Head Office - Barclays Global Corporates:

    - Country Relationship Director: portfolio of UK subsidiaries of large French Multinationals (CAC40, SBF120) across a range of sectors (manufacturing, utilities, retail, business services, publishing media advertising, transport logistics, agribusiness, technology), responsible for the corridor France-UK Inbound (£30m of annual income, award of the most effective corridor at the 2012 Barclays MNC Global Conference), indirect management of product partners and of a team of Relationship Support Managers to drive service excellence, drove significant growth resulting in a high market share (CAC40 55%, SBF120 30%).

    - Global Relationship Director (from July 2013): portfolio of Swiss Large Corporates across a range of sectors and geographies, indirect management of product partners and country Relationship Directors in other countries (EMEA), as the owner of overall delivery for the clients I managed.

    Barclays Corporate :

    * Successfully developed a portfolio of Mid-Large caps (T/O €150m-5bn) by acquiring key new customers and significantly exceeding target.

    * Originated a deal flow of syndicated facilities through my own contact network.

    * Successfully developed a portfolio of Mid-Large caps (T/O €100m-12bn), specialising in transport/logistics and agribusiness with a selective approach through analysis and managing/monitoring of risks.

    Strasbourg 1996 - 1998 Banque de l'Economie Credit Mutuel (BECM) :

    * Successfully developed a portfolio of SMEs (T/O €3-40m) through active conquest.

    * As a Credit Analyst, conducted an impressive number of reviews covering a wide range of facilities. Promoted to a Relationship Manager role after 10 months.
  • BNP CHINA - Commercial Assistant (National Service)

    1994 - 1995 General Representative Office for China :

    * Selected by BNP through a recruitment process, chose to join BNP China out of 15 proposed destinations.

    * Full responsibility for relations with private customers ; Actively involved in export and project financing projects ; Initiated quarterly study reports on Chinese economy, highly appreciated by corporate clients ; Meetings with Local Authorities (Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu) and with corporate clients ; Provided cover for the representatives of BNP Shanghai and BNP Guangzhou during their annual leave (3 weeks each).
