• MGB Metro Group Buying - Textile Quality Assurance Manager

  2015 - 2016 Company overview: MGB-Metro Group Buying HK Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the METRO GROUP, headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Shanghai, New Delhi, Dhaka & Istanbul. MGB has a US$ 750 million annual turnover. MGB is a responsible for the international procurement for the sales divisions of Metro.
  
  My role consists of managing a 6 persons team that supervises 400+ suppliers for 5+ brands.
  
  Lead the company's QM Engineer and Technicians
  • Developed and managed a new selection system based on risk matrix
  • Analyse claims related to quality issue & propose solution for immediate
  correction or improvement.

• BESTSELLER - Quality Assurance & Control manager

  PARIS 2012 - 2014 Company detail: BESTSELLER GROUP is a Danish Garment’s Company with turnover US$ 950 million across 10 brands including Jack & Jones, Selected, Only, Vero Moda, Vila, Name It, etc. I lead a 23 person team that supervises 200+ factories buying 10+ brands.
  
  Details:
  • Reporting directly to Worldwide Quality Manager based in Denmark HQ.
  • Leading the company’s QC, QA, and CSR strategy and in China and Southeast Asia. This is evidenced by visiting Denmark 8 times to collaborate with management, implementing greater than 70% inline inspection with more than 66% of total styles inspected by AQL system, producing savings in excess of $5,000,000 USD.
  • I directly liaise with brands to determine brand specific requirements.
  • Lead annual training to all our QA/QC/CSR team (20 staff) on best practices, HQ goals, and client requirements including Esquel Group, Crystal Group
  • Directly supervise factories as evidenced by more than 65 factories self trained & audited
  • Collaborate with third party audits, including CSR, Chemical Compliance, etc. I have worked with most the major 3 party firms including Intertek, SGS, Bureau Veritas, UL, etc

• Devanlay International Trading / Lacoste Brand roducts - Asia Quality Manager

  2010 - 2012 Company detail: DEVANLAY International Trading is the worldwide licensee for Lacoste brand products. I led an 11 person team that supervised all QC across Asia.

  2002 - 2010 Company detail: Gingo Biloba is a european trading company, covering a wide range of products including textiles, home decoration, tableware, luggage, toys, wooden goods, gift, collectibles. I was responsible for both QA/QC as well as factory sourcing and production follow-up.

  o Set-up Quality Control Procedures and created a Quality Planning System to suit customer’s need which reduce clients’ complaints/claims by more than 80%
