    2009 - maintenant English et Cetera SARL, créée en Septembre 2009 à Aix en Provence, rassemble les compétences des experts de l’industrie, de la technologie, de l’enseignement et des langues.

    Notre mission est de fournir des prestations, traduction, conseil, coaching et développement aux professionnels afin de faciliter leurs échanges, leurs communications et leur efficacité au sein de leurs activités professionnelles, là où une parfaite connaissance et maîtrise de la langue Anglaise est importante.


    Nous mettons nos clients en relation directe avec des interlocuteurs spécialisés dans les domaines de compétences requises par leurs projets, en s’appuyant sur notre réseau d’experts.

    Nous nous spécialisons dans les échanges entre les deux langues Français et Anglais, sans s’y limiter et notre expérience porte sur toutes les domaines de la business international y compris de la technologie, des sciences et des techniques, en utilisant des experts des langues maternelles.

    Nous avons aussi la possibilité d’intervenir pour des projets en Espagnol, Italien, Allemand, Japonais, Hollandais, Russe.

    Acting General and Business Development Manager,

    Acting as General Manager of the UK subsidiary and reporting to the CEO of Majencia SA, the leading French Office workplace design solutions provider. Majencia a €100Million turnover company required a manager to set up office, build relationships with commercial partners including suppliers, customers, partners and networks including the French Chamber of Commerce in London and determine development strategy for the UK business.

    June 2009 and ongoing for AixTRA Ltd

    -I represent a US/Japanese group in Europe developing sales channels for specialised industrial materials used in diverse optical, medical and scientific applications .I have established a regular flow of business and information from European customers back through the supply chain in US, Asia, Japan.

    April 2009 to September 2009 Company Start Up in France, English et Cetera SARL.

    -I oversaw the start up and development of a language training enterprise providing language, translation, coaching, professional development and training to private individuals and business partners in and around Aix en Provence. I am retained as board member to advise and direct business development.

    September 2008 to April 2009 for AixTRA Ltd.

    -I coordinated all elements of third party relationship management between a French industrial organisation its UK supplier and end users during a localisation and outsourcing project.

  • Toppan Photomasks Inc. - Global Supply Chain Specialist and European Regional Leader

    2005 - 2008 I was accountable for the European regions supply chain process development, documentation, deployment and management in compliance with all regulatory, quality, industry and ethical standards.(e.g. ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001:2002, QS900).

    Achievements

    • Directed materials strategy implementation at internal manufacturing sites worldwide and led the lengthy technical and marketing communication process to obtain end user approvals on new materials according to critical time lines. (US$80Million of product annually)

    • Responsible for supplier relationship management and conclusion of worldwide negotiations for a specific category of specialised materials.(US$15-20Million spend).

    • Defined and implemented a global supplier management process for critical suppliers, which consisted of quarterly management, quality and technical reviews, audits, site meetings and new product qualification programmes.

    • Directed worldwide cost management programmes, reporting status and sustainable benefits to global operations and financial management. (>US100Million$ annual material costs)
  • DuPont Photomasks Inc. - European Supply Chain Project Manager

    2000 - 2005 I lead the European regions supply chain operations during expansion from two to five sites. I held direct management responsibility for five site supply chain representatives in UK, France (2 sites) and Germany (2sites) during the acquisition and start-up operations of new sites.

    Key Achievements

    • Produced European operational and benchmark processes to drive continuous improvement and QS9000 quality certification for the region.

    • Led Europe to company benchmark performance in terms of supply chain practice, inventory management and variable cost performance. I was subsequently invited to drive development of similar practices in the US and Asia.

    • I managed an outsourcing project to move manufacture of mature products from Europe to China. I negotiated terms and developed local marketing communication to accompany the move maintaining customer service levels whilst reducing cost and improving profitability. (US$5Million/year product range).
  • DuPont Photomasks Inc. - Front End Operations Manager

    1996 - 1999 Key Achievements

    • Re-organised the local operations into successful teams with a customer satisfaction, results driven, ‘can do – will do‘, approach.
    • Developed and recruited individuals with capability to work within a multi-site and multi-cultural global business and be accountable for results.
    • Achieved world class customer service levels ( On time delivery, Quality, Customer satisfaction)
  • DuPont de Nemours, France - Regional Account Manager

    1993 - 1995 I moved from the UK arm of the company to DuPont de Nemours, France to continue the successful growth of sales of specialist printed circuit board materials and equipment achieved in the UK into the French printed circuit board (PCB) market.

    • Grew sales from US$ 2 to 5 Million gaining market share at key OEM accounts, Bull, Sony, Phillips as well as specialist PCB manufacturers.
  • DuPont de Nemours ,UK - Account Manager

    1990 - 1993 • Responsible for all aspects of customer identification, service and product offering, pricing, negotiation and customer satisfaction in the development of sales of printed circuit board materials in the UK to value of US$5million.
  • DuPont de Nemours ,UK - Development Engineer

    1987 - 1989 • I joined DuPont de Nemours, on an accelerated development programme working on three extended Technical and Engineering project assignments in Germany, UK and France for 9 months each
