    2017 - 2018 - Research and development of self-regulating cables for new applications in automotive, and space industry. Use of semi-conductive polymer formulations in order to develop innovative heating devices with self regulating properties. These heating devices find applications in multiple industrial fields needing electrical heating solutions.
    - Research and development of temperature sensors for aerospatial industry
    - Technological watch on competitors products and innovations and trends in electrical heating devices (industrial and academic)
    - Quality management of production to improve existing procedures (involved in ISO9001 :2015 certification and CSTB certification). Compliance of our procedures with existing norms (VDE, IEEE) in heating cable industry.
  • Chimie ParisTech - PhD student (CIFRE with Vygon)

    2013 - 2016 CIFRE PhD program, in partnership with Vygon, a medical device company.
    Development of a chemical modification of polyurethane surfaces to improve biocompatibility of catheters. Innovation in order to get a new product on the market.
    Step n°1: screening of organic chemistry reactions on model carbamates to identify suitable reactions to efficiently modify polyurethanes
    Step n°2: optimisation of reaction conditions, study of the impact of various parameters on the yield of the chosen reaction
    Step n°3: apply this reaction to the surface modification of medical grade polyurethanes to modify its surface properties
    Step n°4: analyse the chemical and physical modification of the surface - TOF-SIMS, XPS, contact angle, profilometry, ATR-FTIR
    Step n°5: assess the biological properties of the modified surface towards blood coagulation and bacterial adhesion - protein adsorption, cell adhesion, platelet adhesion, bacterial adhesion

    Regular communication of results to Vygon project leaders and R&D director by means of regular reports and meetings.

    My results led to the redaction of a patent (EP3243861), two scientific articles (https://avs.scitation.org/doi/10.1116/1.5024601, https://www.thieme-connect.com/products/ejournals/abstract/10.1055/s-0036-1588866) and one more to come.

    Communications to international seminars and congresses in front of an audience of experts in the field.
