En résumé

Since 2001, i have definitively given an international turn to my career. After some years as Sales Key account in Europe, i have seized the opportunity in March 2004 to move to China for the management of a new JV with a chinese partner and the project management for a large acquisition.
In July 2007 i was again moving for a new exciting challenge in the Middle East as General Manager.

All those changes have been made within the same oil company (Nynas AB -swedish based ) but through different departments.
Indeed, from a commodity product (bitumen) , i am now handling our naphthenics oils, specialties products with a worlwide presence and leadership .

Actually, those experiences in international environments deeply change my way of working and apprehending businesses.

    2011 - maintenant Develop and organise sales and marketing activities in Continental Europe on a long term basis for bitumen in order to develop market leadership around chosen supply points and to arrive at a sustainable profitability for the overall business.
    - 6 direct reports
    - Responsible for sales of approximately 700,000 tonnes of Bitumen products.
    - Value of sales in excess of € 350 million (turnover)




  • NYNAS AB MIDDLE EAST - General manager

    2007 - 2010 Develop sales of transformers , base and process oil in the Middle East and North East Africa (17 countries)
    Improve profitability and customers services.
    Study business development plans for a sustainable growth.
  • PANJIN NYNAS NORTH BITUMEN COMPANY (CHINA) - General Manager

    2004 - 2007 First implantation of Nynas bitumen out of Europe . I have been in charge to establish the partnership with our chinese partners, creation from scratch of a new entity & bitumen business .

    Besides, as project manager China , i also evaluated the feasibility of a large bitumen business in China based on Venezuelan crude supply (PdVSA - a Venezuelan state-owned oil company - is shareholder of Nynas AB). identify potential chinese partners, supply chain, processes, collaboration format....

    2001 - 2004 Marketing, negociation & sales in Europe of bitumen for one of our major key account (~35mio US$)
    Sales Manager in France . head of a team of 7 people . turnover of about 80mioUS$
