En résumé

Facility Engineer with experience involved in Select & Basic, FEED and Detailed Engineering for oil and gas onshore projects. As a Site Engineer in a field-based position in my early career, I have strong experience exposure in day-to-day process support to Operations and Champion of the Management of Changes (MOCs) to improve profitability and safety. Acting as a Scribe for process safety studies, I have good knowledge of HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL. Currently developing strong process simulation and modelling analysis skills using Unisim and Pipesim while being an advanced user of the PI Process Book (historical plant data). Highly efficient in providing engineering/project interface in the development and execution of engineering activities including with state representative officials, company management, operations, service vendor providers. Engineer in training with the Institution of Chemical Engineering (IChemE), on the way to achieving Chartership.

  • Assala Energy United Kingdom - Process Engineer

2019 - maintenant Toucan Asset Debottlenecking Studies (onshore remote location in Gabon): About $ US 50 – 60 Million debottlenecking project. Client based position, involved in the FEED and Detail Engineering studies as well as HAZOP/HAZID/SIL meetings. Responsible of the checking and endorsement of technical documentation produced by the Engineering contractor, the preparation of responses to EPC bidders’ clarifications, the assessment of requests for exceptions, and clarification meetings with bidders. Directly involved in preparing the commissioning & start-up activities with several field trips to Gabon.

Sealine Export Terminal Heating Improvement Study: Process/Project Engineer responsible of leading the heating improvement study of the sealine export of an Oil Terminal for flow assurance management. Champion the Options Select and Feasibility studies, Process and pipeline hydraulics simulations, development of PFDs, P&IDs, sizing of equipment and lines, participation in HAZOP/HAZID studies, managing the engineering/project interface between company management, operations, and service vendor providers.

Gas Compressors Upgrade: Developed a process simulation model using Unisim to analyze and prevent liquid accumulation within the gas lift network and promote wells performance during cold seasons. My model displayed creativity and innovation by bypassing the last stage discharge cooler of the new gas lift compressor to inject gas at higher operating temperatures. Net production oil gain estimated at 240bpd. Produced Technical Note to File and P&IDs marked-up. Development of PSFS and P&IDs based on vendor compressor package, including line list, line sizing, integrated review of cause and effect matrix. Responsible of process drawing reviews from Engineering Contractor for approval. HAZOP, HAZID studies.
  • Assala Energy Gabon - Process Engineer

2017 - 2019 Field based position. Support to operations, production and projects. Process safety investigations on site with the OIM and the site HSE officer. Coordinator of the Management of Changes (MOCs) of the assets. Principal Scribe of the HAZOP/HAZID studies in the company. Review and development of ESD diagram. Daily operations support. Coaching/training about problem solving and troubleshooting in process operations to production operators i.e. about crude export sealine management, heat exchangers and pumps performance.
  • Shell Gabon - Graduate Process Engineer

Libreville 2016 - 2017 Field based position. Member of a Well Reservoir and Facility Management (WRFM) Team to support operations, production and projects. Responsible of facility capacity reports, debottlenecking, troubleshooting, sizing of equipment, lines and instruments, process and pipeline simulations, FEED and conceptual studies. Participation in safety studies i.e. HAZOP/HAZID, facilities performance testing and optimization. Management of Change (MOC). Stakeholder management with external partners to present process engineering related issues during joint venture meetings.
  • Shell Gabon - WRFM Process Engineering Intern

Libreville 2013 - 2014 Project: Upgrade of the PI Process Book of the Company.

Problem: When joining the company, the plant information software was in a dire state i.e. poor available data and process flow displays, several versions and stored locations of the Process Book of each asset.

Achievement: Project delivered on time and budget, saving the company about US$245,200. Became an extensive user and provided training to several other staff. The modifications are still in use today within Assala Gabon.

    Other responsibilities include:
    • Day-to-day operations support with process engineering inputs
    • Participation in troubleshooting and optimization of surface facilities
    • Exposure to Health Safety and Environment (HSE) activities, in Hazard Operability (HAZOP) Studies
    • Exposure and leading of Plant Change Proposal (PCP)
    • Organized and maintained the Plant Information (PI) Process Book of the Asset
    • Coordinated the Daily Production Review (DPR) meetings
