I’m a Senior Business Control Manager currently working in supply chain & logistics industry.
With 17 years of business control and project lead in significant companies, such as KUEHNE-NAGEL and HAYS, I have a large experience of operations and finance in an international environment.

I started my career as project manager, leading value added operations like outsourcing solutions. Then I decided to join multinational companies in order to acquire larger responsibilities and skills in a multi customers and sectors activities.

These successful experiences have enabled me to lead the Business Control of the main KUEHNE-NAGEL business in France (Contract Logistics), sizing up to €650 million annual revenue and 5.000 heads.

As a pure business partner, I manage operations and finance for the BU next to the French CEO and CFO in challenging situations such as tenders/development, opening new branches, restructuring/action plan follow-up, target achievement…

    Arcueil 2007 - maintenant Missions :
    Developing and monitoring the 3-years strategic plan alongside Top Management.
    Playing the role of "business partner" in view of increasing the operational margin of the Group in France.
    Ensuring operational action plans and quality of financial results.

    Achievements :
    > Business : growth in turnover and operational profit in line with company expectations
    > Examining business plans : monitoring business with more than €10 million in investments (automated, aeronautic and hi-tech sites, in particular)
    > IT Innovation : launching an online management tool, which enables data input tasks to be reduced and accelerates financial information of operations to Top Management
    > Operational excellence : reduction of several operational losses in the last 2 years through renegotiations of contracts, daily cost-cutting plan and by training workers on better ongoing improvement
    > Social : Monitoring one-offs and potential voluntary redundancy plan, modification of
    35-hours-working-week agreements and analysing the impacts for the company

  • Hays - BUSINESS CONTROLLER National Retail Division

    Paris 1999 - 2006 Missions :
    Creating a position following a reorganization plan within the company.
    Strong field involvement in view of standardising business management tools for 14 units representing 1 500 employees in Paris area and west France

    Achievements :
    > Analysing area results and performance (€107 million turnover)
    > Monthly divisional closing and reporting for COMEX
    > Organizing daily budgetary and control processes for analytic costs, forecasts and action plan by business (co-packing,handling and distribution)
    > Planning investment files (around €200,000/month) through a return-on-investment (ROI) in-depth analysis
    > Controlling cash flow, overdues and client risk
  • PRI - Project Manager

    1995 - 1999 Missions :
    Developing and implementing a logistics and back office outsourcing plan for the Group in France in a multi-subsidiary environment and in a dynamic of external growth.
    Supporting change and managing subcontracted operations.

    Achievement :
    > Analysing and diagnosing obtacles in company development - 4 subsidiaries - 200 employees - €100 million turnover in France
    > Tenders and outsourcing logistics activity of each company - target set at €7 million/year versus €13 million internally
    > Streamlining administrative organizations to a centralised Hub, outsourcing of certain back office functions - €0,8 million contract
    > Social : transferring 40 employees into a pressurised environment, to operational partner service providers
    > Control : implementing performance indicators for subcontracted activities + annual negotiations of shared progress plans
    > Results : a logistics position going from 13% to 7% of national turnover in 2 years, that is a saving of €6 million/year ; a sales development rate of +15% in the 12 months following the end of the project
  • Italian trade Agency - Trade Analyst - Food industry

    1993 - 1995 Searching for market opportunities in mass distribution on behalf of italian manufacturers or consortiums.
    Consulting in company set-up projects in France, working with the "Invest in France Agency".
