  • BIOSOLVE CHIMIE - Sales & Marketing Director

    2012 - 2015 Position Biosolve Chimie in Europe as a major supplier in the field for high purity solvents, reagents, formulations and targeted chemicals compounds for the research, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

    MARKETING / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
    * From scratch, currently developing and implementing a strategic marketing, sales plans and the forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.
    * Implemented 18 months ago a CRM (Salesforce.com) for monitoring the competitor products, the sales (for forecasting the sales activities and setting the performance goals, accordingly) and the marketing activities.
    * Currently implementing communication plan including print and electronic media.
    * Developing new Website as a focal point that would be groomed as the Website for the worldwide group.

    OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT:
    * Manage direct reports & 2 back-offices (Dieuze, France & Eindhoven, Nederland).
    * Represent the company at trade shows and trade association meetings. Meet distributors and key clients to grow distribution channels, new opportunities and future relationships.

    TALENT MANAGEMENT:
    * Oversee recruiting, training, and the performances evaluations to develop and control sales (by establishing the sales territories and goals).
    * Write job descriptions and select final candidates from a pool of recruits.
  • CHIRAL TECHNOLOGIES - Sales & Marketing Manager

    2001 - 2012 * Developed the commercial activity: columns, bulk Chiral Stationary Phases, API and intermediates purification and the marketing and sales strategy: Including launch of a new generation of Chiral Stationary Phases
    * Resulted in high rate of substitution and subsequent sales.
    MARKETING MANAGER:
    * Created the first Marketing plan of CTE and developed the first CRM.
    * In charge of the Website, advertisement, development of an international approach.
    * After a few years: Brand of the company was recognized as the best choice possible within a myriad of generic competitors.

    * Managed the business unit , the most important in term of turnover and profitability.
