Engaged and completely involved in my work, I’ve always tried to elevate my collaborators above their functions. Gaining a better understanding of what motivates them, I’ve solidified their commitment reducing turnover, while developing new perspectives for their career.

  • KBL European Private Bankers - Networks ITS Manager

    Luxembourg 2006 - 2012 Responsible for managing existing complex network infrastructure and security
    systems at Luxembourg headquarter for 2500 employees over 40 branch offices.
    Oversee day-to-day operations including performance management over a ticket-
    ing system (ITIL).
    Guarantee high availability of production environment in conjunction of SLA.
    Provide leadership and support to my team compound of 7 Systems Engineers and
    few external resources.
    Develop strategic projects with a keen understanding of business priorities and en-
    sure their governance (scope, planning, budget, progress and report to executive
    management).
    Build a long term relationships with our Subsidiaries by establishing a high level of
    confidence and trust.
    Negotiate all contracts related to our activities (Hardware, Software, Telecom, Ser-
    vices & maintenance) (M€ 2,4 budget/year).
    Responsible for the security of all eBanking/Public Web sites for the entire Group.

    Key projects & Accomplishments:
    * Build branch ICT infrastructure from the ground floor into an operational
    office including networks (LAN, WAN), phones & video components.
    * Deploy an enterprise telephony system through the Group with more than
    2.500 IP phones without Management Board aid. All our proposals have
    been challenged with local dealer’s ones and based on Subsidiary’s RFP.
    * Refurbishment of our two Data Centers without causing any production’s
    incident.
    * Install enterprise platforms for hosting services (mail relay, remote & mo-
    bile accesses, managed file transfer, Visio conferencing, …).
    * Organization internal IT events for technical and non-technical audiences.
    * Replacement of all our Datacenter’s switches by Cisco Nexus switches.
  • Guardian Industries - Senior Systems Engineer

    Compans 1992 - 2006 Designed, managed and implemented IT & telephony projects for new manufactur-
    ing plants over the world.
    Led multiple project teams in a multi-cultural environment, including tasks alloca-
    tion, issues and conflicts.
    Trained them on proper use of new ICT infrastructure (network, applications and
    phone systems).
    Travelled regularly to plants to ensure that local team apply best practices trained
    and reported any local problems or issues .
    Adapted IT infrastructure regarding the company growth.
    Responsible for all hardware decision in Europe (servers, routers, switches, …).
    Deployed and administrated different platforms (network & systems) over 14 years
    for Guardian Europe (European headquarter).
    Provided technical support (systems/applications) for IT teams located in Europe.
    Deployed monitoring tools and centralized administration solution.
    Increased IT infrastructure reliability by aligning it regarding available technology.
    Realized Operating System migrations or upgrades: OS/2, Novell, Windows.
    Deployed a endpoint management workstation tool.
