Jean-Marc Berlioux is a free-lance consultant. He founded in 2013 a consulting firm called “Jean-Marc Berlioux Conseil”. He delivers consulting to IT executives and CIOs. He wrote about 60 research notes about various best practices for a CIOs program.
He recently developed a methodology to run effectively the GDPR compliance project and maintenance activities.
Previously, he worked for 16 years within Gartner France. For five years, as an “Executive Partner”, he was in charge of supporting CIOs and IT executives, clients of the Gartner EXP services. Before, Jean-Marc Berlioux ran CIOs programs, managed a business unit and was chief Editor of an IT professional journal called « Informatique Professionnelle ». He wrote a technology watch letter for about ten years. He delivered consulting services.
Before joining Gartner, Jean-Marc Berlioux was a consultant and a Project Director in an ESP, a sales engineer and manager, an application development project manager in an engineering consulting company, a support engineer.
With about 40 years of experience in the IT industry, he has acquired skills mainly in IT Organizations management, organization, leadership and strategies, project and portfolio management, change management, architectures, application development and maintenance issues. He wrote several tens of articles in several IT professional journals or magazines, and published two books.
Jean-Marc Berlioux in a chartered engineer from the ENSEEIHT engineering school, he got a business degree from IAE and he succeeded in the Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) exam (organized by ISACA).
