Responsible for ensuring that all Business Units achieve their Quality, Productivity, Cost and Service Targets in Tunisia by establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators and taking corrective actions if necessary.
Time work shared between 4 different Business Units located in 3 Amphenol Plants in Tunisia.
Each Plant Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations.
All operations are related to Automotive Market with different customers (VW, JLR, BMW, Autoliv, TRW…) and products (Harnesses for safety parts, Sensor, power outlet harness, Lighting harness…).

    > Missions :
    • Manage all Plant Managers in Tunisia.
    • Ensure that the BU (Business Units) achieve their targets in Tunisia.
    • Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and take corrective actions when needed in collaboration with Plant Manager.
    • Report KPIs for all Operations during OPS review.
    • Research and develop new Strategies to achieve Operations Targets.
    • Monitor Company Policies and develop new Operational Procedures in order to increase Efficiency.
    • Manage Tunisian Campus integrating Finance and Human Resources (Common for all BU).
    • Work in close cooperation with the local Campus Plant controller
    • Work in close cooperation with the General Manager of each BU (France, Germany, Slovakia, USA, China).
    • Manage the Local Institutional relationships (Government, Unions, …).

    > Main Achievements:
    • Successful integration of Casco Automotive Tunisia in Amphenol group (Performances, Organization).
    • Development of Campus Organization (Amphenol Optimize Organization).
    • Maintaining and improvement of overall performances (productivity, quality) of all Amphenol plants in Tunisia.
    • Stability of the economic results despite the difficult socio-economic context.
    • Successful Business Management during the post revolution period.
    • Construction Management of a second building (6000 m2) to set up Amphenol Tunisia (Finished within14 months).
  • Amphenol - Quality Assurance Manager

    > Missions:
    • Implement Standard Quality Norms in all Plants.
    • Represent the board in Customer Quality meetings.
    • Promote the culture of Total Quality in Amphenol FILEC SAS by deploying ISO TS 16949 norm.
    • Implement numerous work Instructions, procedures, and forms used to maintain and track Quality (8D Problem Resolution and Improvement Process, PDCA).
    • Perform Inspections and Internal Audits.
    • Manage Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing Practices.
    • Maintain the ISO Certification system in order to comply with the main customers ‘requirements (AUTOLIV, VALEO)
    • Responsible for KPI’s data reporting to Customers.

    • Successfully obtained ISO TS16949 for all Plants.
    • Decrease Customers Complains by 65%.

    1999 - 2000 AVO Groups (Cables Harness & Brush Holder Plates for Automotive).
    Turnover: 17 M€ (2000) - 620 employees.
    Major customers: VALEO – ARVIN MERITOR – MBR – GRUPO AUTOLIN.

    > Missions:
    • Analyze Suppliers Performance on a monthly basis (250 suppliers).
    • Supplier Management and Validation
    • Establish and maintain Supplier Control such as Income Inspection, Supplier Audits for Quality development.
    • Manage Quality Supplier Complains and follow Supplier Corrective Actions.
    • Provide Quality Training to Inspectors and Operators.
    • Audit Suppliers during Developments Activities.
    • Link between Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Logistics.

    > Main Achievements:
    • Create a Quality Supplier Department and trained 4 collaborators.
    • Implement a Quality Supplier Policy in collaboration with Purchasing Department.

    • Participate to the Ramp Up of Activities.
    • Implement a Quality System and ISO 9001 Certification.

    • Automotive Customers Homologations (VALEO, Arvin Meritor, MBR).
    • Active participation to the Activities development in Tunisia (0 to 250 employees in 2 years).
