    Courbevoie 2008 - 2011 RATP, the Paris District Transport Authority, has awarded Thales a multi million contract to renovate the operation control centers of several complex metro lines with advanced security, supervision and communication solutions for smart train and energy management. This represents the first step towards driverless metro. Among these lines, the longest and most saturated line of Paris with 120+ millions passenger per year. This contract includes the design, development, delivery, installation, integration, migration and commercial launch of the complete solution with the associated simulation tools.
