  • Zodiac Aerospace - R&D Engineer - PhD Student

    Plaisir 2013 - 2016 Ph.D. title : "Interferometric Laser Imaging for water droplets and ice crystals sizing."

    Development of an icing column for in-lab ice crystals generation and design of an interferometric optical system to measure their size and shape. Experimental recording and simulation of interferometric out-of-focus images. Synchronized recording/reconstruction of digital hologram.

    Financial support: ZODIAC AEROSPACE by the European Project HAIC (High Altitude Ice Crystals) coordinated by Airbus Industry. Project involving 34 industrial and academic partners.
    Objective: to enhance aircraft safety in mixed phase and glaciated icing conditions.
