INSEAD MBA with over 10 years of banking and Big 4 financial advisory experience, predominantly in emerging markets environment.
Currently an Assistant manager, Corporate finance at KPMG in the Balkans, one of the largest and most successful advisory practices in the region. Primarily focused on advising clients’ C-level management in relation to business plan assessments, feasibility studies, financial and commercial due diligence, often against the backdrop of a complicated financing. Gained significant exposure to Financial Services, Telecommunications and Infrastructure.
Prior to KPMG, served in key corporate banking roles at Raiffeisen Bank International AG (Bulgaria) for four years, most recently as a deputy head of a credit risk management unit specialising in financial due diligence and rating of prospective large corporate borrowers.
Previously was a loan officer for mid-caps and SMEs demonstrating strong track record in deal origination and execution.

    Courbevoie 2010 - maintenant ♦ Selected for a consultancy role, initially as Assistant Manager, part of a regional team of 400 professionals. Manages advisory projects and work streams for KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice across the SEE region, including Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Macedonia.

    ♦ Broad product offering includes financial due diligence, debt advisory, business valuations, financial modelling, business plans and forecasting, financial restructuring, feasibility studies, as well as market and competitor analysis, with projects delivered in all these areas.

    ♦ Grew to leadership of projects for key clients and promoted to manager. Integral to business development and knowledge management in the firm’s Infrastructure business line. Delivered over thirty high profile advisory projects across the Balkans.

  • Raiffeisen Bank International AG - Deputy Head, Credit Risk Management

    Rome 2008 - 2009 ♦ Brought in by Chief Risk Officer to support the establishment of a new unit with the Corporate Risk Management division from scratch. Performed financial analysis and assigned internal credit ratings, developed internal processes, and guided interaction with other teams. Led a team of five analysts as the department grew to close to 20 people.

    ♦ Brought clarity to position and sensitivity to risks involved in the bank’s credit exposure to borrowers through delivery of financial due diligence and assigning of credit ratings to large corporates. Avoided foreclosures through restructure and renegotiation of a number of challenging assets as consequences of the financial crisis began to affect the economy.

  • Raiffeisen Bank International AG - Senior Loan Officer

    Rome 2005 - 2008 ♦ Focused chiefly on deal origination, structuring and execution of lending transactions but was also involved as an expert in a number of internal projects related to product development, negotiations with multilaterals, etc.

    ♦ Demonstrated strong business acumen and talent to assess the financial and commercial performance of potential borrowers, coupled ability to maintain a sound relationship with existing clients, as evidenced by a swift promotion from a junior loan officer.

    ♦ Oversaw and mentored a team of loan officers.

  • UniCredit - Loan officer SME

    Rome 2003 - 2005 ♦ Fast-tracked from initial remit as client consultant to mortgage lending officer, then HNW client manager, before assuming responsibility for SME clients at a time when the Bulgarian economy was beginning to pick up.

    ♦ Commended as “Key Member of Staff” and a significant contributor to exponential growth in SME lending. Originated, structured, executed and managed a portfolio of debt with new and existing SME clients.
