Mafatime was born on 27/09/1992 in Thies - Senegal born. Already during his school days and later during his studies he painted a lot.
His works he produced mainly in Thies and in the capital Dakar.
His first application for an international art prize was successful. He was nominated for the Palmart Award 2014! A great success for a young artist who just goes his first steps on international exhibitions.
His works are evidence of a force such as are found almost exclusively in African artists.
Mafatime Dione läst in each of his paintings incorporate something of himself. Thoughts, emotions - desires - he paints what they enter it.
