Transmission Network Planning & Design use as physical media : Fiber Optic, Microwaves

Transmission Network Planning & Design includes the design of the Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint Radio links in Microwave spectrum and the design of the transmission for a mobile network (Access). It includes the dimensioning and configuration of the Microwave links

Specific Transmission Survey : Define requirements regarding Line of Sight, option sites, antenna's heights, outdoor space, indoor space, cables lenghts, FO path specifications

Capacity handling over Transmission Path : Make Capacity calculation and take decision with regard to next steps to follow: path upgrade, topology change

Perform design for Transmission Path : Design Microwave link, Hardware and Configuration Capacity, Frequency Plan and Channels, Antennas/Dishes size, Antennas heights, Modulation, Polarization

Perform Interference calculation within specified targets with respect of the ITU and ETSI specifications

Connectivity Plan : Assign ports, paths, circuits or bandwidth in order to complet end to end path

OSI and TCP/IP architecture
Public, Wireless (Microwaves) and multimedia networks
IPv4 forwarding, Routing & Switching (Cisco Routers & Switches, Alcatel)
Mobile access network 2G, 3G and LTE
Optical network architecture: FTTH and GPON

Mes compétences :
Routing
Switching
Satellite operations
Transmission conception
Mpls / BGP / LAN / MAN / WAN / WIFI / MICROWAVE /
