  • Geoservices - R&D Engineer

Roissy en France 2014 - maintenant
  • Accenture - Analyst / Junior consultant

Paris 2013 - 2014 Analyst within a consultant team working for the maintenance and the implementation of SAP (Enterprise resource planning (ERP): a business management software) for the City of Paris.

Responsible for analysis, design, and testing of components of the financial and logistic modules of SAP (FI, FM and SD, MM). Involved in maintenance, enhancement and development of SAP modules.

Has developed during five months a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by the client.
  • Schlumberger - Physicist Engineer / project leader

Paris 2012 - 2012 Research and development as a physicist engineer and project leader working on a new propagation resistivity tool:

Schlumberger, the world leader in oilfield services, is developing tools giving its customers the opportunity to acquire real time data from wells they're drilling (logging while drilling). This data is used to estimate reserves and optimize production from each well. To do so, the composition of the underground formation has to be characterized very precisely. The EMS Division (Engineering, Manufacturing and Sustaining) has developed a range of tools that measure permeability, porosity, gamma ray, neutron absorption, the sonic absorption and the resistivity. The EM-WP team (Electromagnetism-Well Placement) is specialized in tools for resistivity measurement to guide the drill in real time.

The purpose of the project was to develop a new tool technology, which will lead to a new generation of resistivity tools in the upstream energy industry.

    • In charge of the project development through the planning management, subcontractors relationship, meetings and presentations.

    • Performed the technical studies. A primary objective was to define customer expectations, needs and constraints of the environment for the tool. Then, a theoretical study, a modeling and design of the main parts of the tool will precede the assembly of a prototype for physic experiments. In a second step, it was necessary to calibrate and configure the prototype, and perform tests to validate the models in controlled laboratory environments.

The tool response (raw voltages and propagation tensors) was performed with Matlab. The design of the mechanical parts was performed with Pro/ENGINEER (CAO software). The instruments were controlled with Labview.

Study of the propagation tensors patented (first name on a patent memo). Work and results highly greeted by the electromagnetism community.
  • University of Houston - Research Scholar

2011 - 2011 Center for Advanced Materials at the University of Houston.
Scientific research about the development of advanced photovoltaic materials and devices. Four month of theoretical studies, simulations and modeling in quantum physic within an international team.

Once photons are trapped in a semiconductor material, the positive and negative charges have to be separated to generate the electrical current. An efficient new method is being developed to separate the charges by building multi quantum wells. Knowing the specific time of emission from the wells allows to build more precise design of solar cells, which increase their efficiency. An approximated time of the thermionic emission is predicted by a formula developed by H. Schneider and K. von Klitzing, in 1988.
The work was to go back to these approximations, and show that a more precise model gives results that are different from an order of magnitude from the widely used formula.

Results greeted by mentors, and may lead to a scientific publication.
