- Coollaborateur Projet / Project collaborator
2014 - 2014
This collaboration is the final achievement of my three month internship at School Engineering of Brown University submitted of the requirements of the second year of the degree of Engineering in Materials.
The subject was focused on the study of a new generation of batteries such as lithium ion batteries based on the use of titanium oxide nanotubes used as electrodes and solid polymer used as electrolyte. The titanium oxide nanotubes were fabricated by anodization, a chemical reaction. Different voltages were applied for anodization to obtain different nanotube pore size. Furthermore, several molecular weights of the solid polymer were used. Different combinations of these parameters were used to see the behavior of lithium ion batteries in impedance and battery performance tests in order to define which the battery with better performances is.
