As business manager, my responsibilities include:

    - Business management, developing the portfolio of technical assistance projects: Identification of tender opportunities, preparation and coordination of proposals (development of partnerships, search of expertise, facts finding missions, technical proposal writing, budget preparation and negotiation).
    Projects won include: « Appui au trésor » (Central African Republic), “Appui au Ministère de l’Economie et des Finances” (Guinea, € 0.4 million), « Public finance management reform » (Syria, € 6.8 million), « Réalisation d’actions de formation dans les domaines du management de l’économie au bénéfice du CGPP, de l’ONS et du Ministère des Finances » (Algeria, € 0.9 million), « Programme d’appui aux exportations du secteur banane » (Cameroon, € 0.4 million), Migration Facility (ACP Countries, € 9 million, « Programme d’appui aux PME, phase II » (Algeria, € 8.9 million)

    - Market research and analysis: exploring new sectors relevant with our expertise and developing synergies with other subsidiaries of the Egis group particularly in the mining sector (social and environmental impact assessments) and tourism.

    1997 - 1999 Analyzed oil statistics produced by this institution -market review, refining activities- in comparison with the evolution of competitive energies as well as all data related to oil products consumption (means of transportation, housing and energy balances).

    Edited those statistics in a monthly bulletin and an extensive reference yearbook.
  • Mission de Coopération, Lomé, Togo - Economiste

    1995 - 1996 Assessed the macroeconomic evolution of the country after the Franc CFA devaluation: established contacts with the Togolese Administration to collect relevant economic data and condensed economic information for the French Aid department. Publication of a monthly review including all key economic data: trade statistics, public expenditure and revenues, consumer price index…

    Participated to missions such as;
    - The World Bank expenditure review;
    - The French financial review for the 1995 structural adjustment subvention;
    - Tariffs harmonization in West Africa and Togo's private sector evaluation.
