Thanks to my years of experience as an R & D engineer and Industrial Designer in the field of scientific instrumentation, I joined Aldebaran Robotics, a current SoftBank Robotics Europe, in 2012 to merging my expertise with the prospective vision of this organized company as a startup.

  • Softbank Robotics Europe - Mechanical & Design Engineer in Innovation Department

    2014 - maintenant Strongly involved from the beginning, in the greatest secrecy, on the development of the humanoid robot Pepper. I participated, initially in this great adventure, as designer of the trunck part, place of all the convergences and all the chalenges that entails to reconcile the unification of the limbs and the head.

    Subsequently, I was entrusted with the design and the lead of the team in charge of completely rethinking the base of the Pepper robot on new aesthetic and technological constraints. Thus, the battery, the new patented holonomic wheels and all the presence sensor equipment were completely redeveloped.

    After spending some time on the Romeo robot, including the design of its new motorized spine and other leads and the secret development of new robots, I integrated the new Innovation Department in charge of advanced robotics.

    In addition to my mechatronics design functions, I am the Sensor Manager of the Department responsible for the definition and evaluation of sensors for their use on future robots.
