Technical director of roughly 50 engineers and technicians for the Cranes and the Port Solutions divisions for France in Monceau-les-Mines, reporting to the local General Manager and functionally to the Products Divisions Managers in Düsseldorf and in Zweibrücken.
- Supervise all the activities for the development of the mobile cranes (up to 100t) and the reachstackers, including: mechanical design, CAD, FE Computation, Electronic, Hydraulic, Electricity, Power train, Drive train, Project management, Technical documentation, Homologation and Product Safety;
- Manage the prototype shop (prototype assembly, tests and measurements) and the manufacturing engineering team (manufacturing procedure, standard work, standard time, products’ modifications management, tools);
- Support the customers in technical issues and drive the reverse engineering for products improvement;
- Implement NPPD process and modular design approach;
- Drive cost reduction projects closely with the purchasing department;
- Develop new relations with Universities and external partnership to improve innovation;
- Build external support with Terex India;
- Work closely with other locations of Terex (Crespellano, Lentigione, Waverly, Shiamen,…);
- CAD and PDM tools management
