  • BOUYGUES CONSTRUCTION, FRANCE - Purchasing Manager / Commodity Buyer

    2010 - maintenant Performed multifaceted role at Bouygues Construction, one of the top five worldwide construction companies. Managed a two buyers team with a portfolio of 8.5 M€, tasked with the development of strategic procurement expertise in steel and precast elements. Member of the innovation board, E-procurement team, Precast and steel market units. Progressed quickly through organization: buyer, project and commodity buyer, management position.

    • Led a three person team on an international large scale sourcing, to preserve competition, open up markets and develop new economical solutions for precast elements and steel.

    • Developed an international approach for precast slab and steel markets, resulting in overall savings of 250 K€ over 2012.

    • Developed total cost for slab, resulting in the increase of technical accuracy and better economical solutions. Provided 170 K€ in cost reduction.

    • Accomplished 12% on budget savings. Led a procurement strategy based on a international approach, a partnership policy, business development for key suppliers and consistent product innovation. Ensured 495 K€ in savings over 2012.

    • Developed the purchase of precast wall and led a globalization of volumes resulting in a cost reduction of 9% and overall savings of 45 K€ over Q1 of 2012.

    • Developed a substantially more efficient new procurement process for precast slab and wall. This concept reduced processing time by 50%, enhanced negotiation abilities, provided more accurate solutions and better mastery of prices. This process is going to be implemented on the French and Swiss perimeter

    • Generated saving of 75 K€ by negotiating new contracts for site materials and thermal insulation.
