    Paris 2008 - 2009 Manage Schlumberger business at the assigned suppliers. Serve as primary commercial communicator of binding documents to the suppliers. Ensure that material in the supply chain is available as scheduled, at the best market price, and that inventory is maintained at minimum acceptable levels.
    Key Functions
    • Commercial communication of Request for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Order (PO), contacts to suppliers.
    • Responsible for reporting production status, delivery schedule, non-conformance reports (NCR), and RFQ.
    • Ensure high quality supplier output, maximize output, setting priorities, requesting PO and appropriate actions from the respective sourcing teams.
    • Recommend opportunities to reduce total product cost, total inventory investment through new sources, improved system or methods, and negotiations etc.
    • Participate on process improvement programs, like Lean Six Sigma.
    • Report all non-conformity cases, poor service quality processes, and clients’ complaints. Resolve quality and material discrepancy issues.
    • Control negotiation, business contracts and purchasing for all products and services common to the Global Oilfield Logistics & Distribution organization.
    • Organize to search, evaluate, and select the qualified supplier /technological solutions. And negotiate the price and establish contracts.
    • Maintain the current suppliers and develop the potential suppliers.
    • Maintain processes and procedures to ensure that all movement of goods is made in compliance with all applicable trade laws and regulations.
    • Rank suppliers and keep Approved Suppliers List updated, in conjunction with QA function.
    • Leads supplier certification and quality system review.
  • Schlumberger - Field Logistics Specialist

    Paris 2006 - 2008 Make sure that the Global Oilfield Logistics & Distribution (GOLD) organization works at the Customers’ satisfaction by anticipating and solving operational problems.

    • Check on a daily basis that the selected Logistics Partner is working according to the SLB local and global specifications.
    • Prevent any deviation from the procedures.
    • Control Material Orders receipt and processing; supervise the commercial and shipping documentation.
    • Reply to any request for information from the Customers (the Field Locations) with an accurate and timely answer.
    • Control delivery service; analyze Customers claims and Communicate with the Clients on a regular basis to ascertain the service level provided is coherent with Customer’s request.
    • Take the day-to-day decision to make the Customers – Logistics Partner - Schlumberger Supply Chain triangle working efficiently.
    • Participate to the Inventory Management for “GOLD Items” when applicable.
    • Inform the management of anticipate any dysfunction requiring modifications of business process or procedure.
    • Participate in Trade Control Compliance awareness training.
    • Maintain daily metrics defined with the management and publish a monthly report including Key Performance Indicators as defined per Region.
