Depuis 2008, j'analyse les politiques en matière ENR dans le monde et suit l'évolution des nouvelles technologies (éolien, solaire, biomasse, géothermie, energies marines, stockage de l'énergie...). Grace a cette expertise, j'accompagne au quotidien mes clients dans leur optimisation de leur mix énergétique. Avant de rejoindre IHS Emerging Energy Research, j'ai travaillé pour Total comme analyste financier et économiste. Experience internationale en France, Thailande, Etats-Unis et Espagne

    2010 - maintenant • Advise leading European utilities on renewable strategies in global power markets, looking at power technologies management and sustainability of investments
    • Analyze key barriers to greater renewable penetration in European markets, with a particular focus on novel transmission technologies and energy storage demonstration programs
    • Provide expertise and detailed analysis to clients on renewable policies, financial support mechanisms and targets, in the context of EU national actions plans
    • Responsible for IHS EER Global Renewable Forecasts and coordinate integration of forecasts and research themes with sister companies following IHS acquisition of EER
    • Speak at leading renewable conferences (e.g. PowerGen, International Ocean Energy Conference, Energy Storage Forum) and IHS roundtables

    2008 - 2010 • Authored a comprehensive global study of the wave and tidal industry, looking at the technology maturity, development opportunities, utilities’ involvement, and government support
    • Forecasted future power mix until 2025, predicting renewable penetration in over 40 countries and regions globally, using complex economic modeling
    • Built and handled project databases for installed and future plants, tracking developer, size, location, EPC, cost, and technology (biomass, hydro, ocean, nuclear)
    • Conducted research among technology vendors and project developers to track investment costs in the power industry and analyzed cost-competitiveness of renewable
  • Total E&P Thailand - Economist

    2007 - 2008 • Forecasted profitability of oil and gas contracts using complex economic modeling to support negotiations with local partners regarding the exploitation of future gas fields.
    • Submitted quarterly report to headquarters providing update on the evolution of works, based on gathered information from Total E&P Thailand engineers in the field
    • Assisted the Controller and Chief Financial Officer in the elaboration of the five-year strategic plan, year-end closure and monthly reporting
    • Supported Total’s application to the request for proposals for Independent Power Plant bidding in Thailand.
  • Total SA - Apprenticeship in the M&A Department

    COURBEVOIE 2005 - 2007 • Conducted research on companies and on M&A in the energy market (oil and gas, power, chemicals and refining), with a particular focus on the oil sands players in Canada, and on the Chinese and Indian oil market.
    • Provided weekly update of key Total’s competitors and potential acquisitions targets based on daily use of Bloomberg and Reuters tool
    • Set up financial valuation model to simulate impact of Total’s acquisition on key financial ratios (gearing, EPS)
