En résumé

As part of the Offshore Wind logistics team of DNV GL (previously GL Garrad Hassan), I specialized to the challenging projects of offshore wind farm cables.

Since early 2014, I provide technical support to a major offshore wind French company for the design of the export cable routes and the management of the cable procurement and installation tendering process. This involves the definition of the cable corridor surveys (geophysical, UXO and geotechnical) requirements, supporting the Client during survey tender phase and execution, issuing installation feasibility study including cost estimate and business case definition. I am also responsible to manage the cable installation project risks and propose appropriate solution to mitigate these risks.

I have also been involved in the OFTO transfer of the interconnection assets of one UK offshore wind farm. As wind farm owner technical expert, I responded to specific request from the OFTO purchaser following several cable failures over the last 3 years. Bringing expertise from DNV GL group and working with the wind farm Authorised Senior Person; I implemented cable surveys campaign using various measurement process and cable monitoring system to ensure cable sound operation.

Starting in early 2012, I was responsible for the design, procurement and commissioning of one offshore met mast in UK waters including the lattice tower, instrumentation on the tower, LIDAR, autonomous power supply and NavAids system. I have also been package manager for the procurement, assembly and installation of 2 other offshore met masts in UK waters.

Team leader of the North American Project Development group of DNV GL until 2012, I have an extensive knowledge and experience of wind project development challenges as well as onshore and offshore construction process.
