I have a master degree in chemical and chemist engineering from the European School of Chemistry, Polymer and Material Science of Strasbourg (since 2000). I speak four different languages (French, English, Spanish and German). I am talented at transferring, characterizing processes involving polymers, teaching and training people.
From 2011 till now, I dedicated my time to technical transfers. I had the chance to work one year on a confidential and successful project based in Asia. I also have worked on technical or scientific transfers to young people of ten to fifteen years old. They are a challenging audience as they are tricky to interest and focus. Finally, I have started my own tourism business by establishing rentals in the Mountains of Jura.
From end 2006 till end 2011, my work has been dedicated to photovoltaics at the Photovoltaics-Laboratory (PV-Lab) of the Institute of Microtechnology (CH-EPFL-Neuchâtel). Between 2006 and 2010, I set-up the laboratory for the packaging of solar cells and worked at VHF Technologies SA / Flexcell (CH-Yverdon-Les Bains). My job was focused on the screening and testing of the pottants, front and backsheets for the lamination and protection of flexible or rigid glass based PV modules. Finally, I textured the front protective sheet of solar cells to reduce their optical reflection and increase the electrical efficiency of the packed PV cells.
Before 2006, I worked for 5 years at BACAB SA (CH-Sainte-Croix), a manufacturer of self-limiting heating cables. I was first lab manager then research and development manager (compounding, extrusion, scale-up and certifications). I developed a fluoropolymer based heating cable for aeronautical industries and a polyolefin based one for concrete ramp tracing."
